With an effort to spread awareness regarding mutual funds among various investors, an “Investor Awareness Meet” was organized by Cognus Capital Invest at Hotel Varju Villa, New Bhopalpura, Udaipur on August 2, 2017. The meet was held in association with SBI Mutual fund, one of the largest AMCs in India. The session on mutual fund awareness was presided by Mr. Praveen Saini (Senior Manager, SBI).
He said “Mutual fund has brought a drastic change in the world of investments and these changes were primarily responsible for transforming Indian habit of savings to a great extent.”
In his keynote, he gave an overview of the investment procedure, what mutual fund is and also details on how to invest via it. He expressed satisfaction that people started moving toward this avenue and also explained the benefits of investing in the early life. He also advised the investors to build a diversified portfolio rather than putting all your money in one fund.
Soon after the awareness session there was one-to-one interaction with the potential investors to clear their doubts and imparted right information on current market scenario.
