Mutual funds have emerged as the latest investing avenue by overshadowing the traditional investment strategies. But, still the client participation refrains due to the lack of awareness about mutual funds. People think it to be similar to stock market and fear the loss of their money without actually understanding the concept working behind it. CCI has taken up an initiative to educate people about the importance of mutual funds and clarify their doubts regarding them.
Savings on one hand is a mere practice of keeping aside a portion of the income for the rainy day. Bank deposits allow you to earn a meagre rate of interest on the saved amount. While investing, on the other hand, is a mechanism that allows the clients to multiply their money manifolds. Mr. Vinod Agrawal presided over the meeting and discussed the various pros and cons of the diverse saving methods as compared to the mutual funds. There are a lot of reasons for investing in mutual funds like, security, ease of diversification, expert advice, etc. The clients raised their doubts and got satisfying answers for the same. The program turned out to be successful from the user point of view and the target of organizing it was duly met.
